Game Artist Wanted

Job Description:

As a skilled Game Artist, you will create visually stunning in-game art assets, design engaging UI components for mobile/web applications, and maintain visual consistency across various screens and states. You will collaborate with designers, project managers, and engineers to deliver high-quality results on time.

We are looking for an experienced professional who can leverage AI tools to speed up creative workflows, ensuring efficient and effective art production. The ideal candidate must have a strong portfolio showcasing 2D game art and UI work, as well as proficiency in industry-standard software like Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma (Procreate welcome).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design polished in-game art assets (characters, props, environments, VFX, icons)
  • Develop UI asset packs for mobile/web apps (components, states, layouts)
  • Maintain style guides and visual consistency across screens and states
  • Utilize AI to speed creative workflows and ensure efficient art production
  • Collaborate with designers/PMs/engineers and ship on clear timelines
Required Skills & Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Must-Haves:
  • Strong portfolio showing 2D game art and UI work
  • Proficiency with Photoshop/Illustrator/Figma (Procreate welcome)
  • Understanding of visual hierarchy, readability, and accessibility
  • Clean export/handoff: naming, slicing, densities, and asset optimisation
Nice-To-Haves:

While not essential, the following skills would be beneficial:

  • Basics of Blender/Maya (blocking, UVs, simple lighting) or Unity/Unreal import
  • Motion/UI micro-interactions, particle/VFX, iconography
