About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take on end-to-end responsibility for all GST activities related to manufacturing locations, ensuring timely preparation and filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and compliance with indirect tax laws.

We are looking for someone who can proactively advise on GST-related queries, keep track of amendments, and their impact on the company. If you have a strong understanding of plant processes and can provide support in automating GST compliance processes, this could be the perfect fit for you.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the preparation and filing of GST returns on time.
  2. Perform reconciliation of all GST-related GLs (including TDS on GST) every month and coordinate with stakeholders to minimize mismatches in GSTR-2A reconciliations.
  3. Independently collect details from plants/warehouses and support managers in handling GST audits, annual returns, and assessments.
  4. Maintain litigation trackers and ITC trackers for indirect taxes.
  5. Liaise with state consultants to close legacy assessments.
  6. Provide support in automating GST compliance processes.
  7. Follow up on GST refunds when applicable.
  8. Coordinate with statutory auditors/internal auditors for indirect tax matters.
Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter degree, preferably with specialized diplomas in indirect taxation. Your expertise will help us navigate complex tax laws and ensure seamless compliance.

Please note that this is an estimated salary range based on industry standards and location: ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum.
