Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our team at Rus Education. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP frameworks, databases, and web technologies.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications for our EdTech platform using PHP and related technologies. They will work with frameworks such as Laravel/CodeIgniter for scalable solutions and collaborate with product, design, and front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP and related technologies.
  • Work with frameworks such as Laravel/CodeIgniter for scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and front-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring coding standards and best practices.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and LMS tools.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 4–7 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
  • Experience with frameworks like Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, version control (Git), and cloud hosting (AWS/Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with EdTech platforms, LMS, or e-learning systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
