The Role of a Senior Financial Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior financial manager to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for leading financial management and reporting efforts.

Key responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial reports, monitoring annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate submissions of financial reports, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

In addition, you will manage bank payments and receipts, optimize working capital, oversee debt servicing and treasury functions, lead improvements in financial processes and systems, implement ERP systems and reporting tools, and monitor internal controls.

You will also oversee the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, manage tax audits and assessments, and stay updated on changes in tax regulations.

As a leader, you will mentor the finance team, delegate responsibilities effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, or GAAP)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Tally Prime, Odoo) and advanced Excel
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
