Job Title: Cyber Security ISMS Audit Associate / Consultant

Our organization seeks a cyber security professional with expertise in ISMS audits and assessments. The role involves conducting audits, evaluating cyber risk controls, and ensuring compliance with security frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough ISMS audits in line with ISO 27001 standards to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform regular cyber security audits to assess organizational security posture and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Review and evaluate IT security policies, processes, and controls to ensure they align with industry best practices.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen cyber security frameworks and ensure corrective action implementation.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements for cyber security by providing necessary documentation and facilitating communication between stakeholders.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management, highlighting key insights and recommendations for future improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with IT, Risk, and Compliance teams to strengthen cyber security frameworks and ensure effective implementation of recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cyber security audits / ISMS audits with a strong understanding of ISO 27001 controls and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in IT General Controls (ITGC), Vulnerability Management, and Cyber Risk Assessments is essential.
  • Knowledge of cyber security frameworks (NIST, CIS, etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills are critical for success in this role.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • ISO 27001 LA/LI certification is highly preferred.
  • Additional certifications (CISA, CISM, CEH, etc.) would be advantageous.
