Education Narrative Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Education Narrative Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a knack for crafting compelling narratives that capture the essence of education.

The role involves working at the intersection of education, media, and impact, shaping the narrative that matters. You will be responsible for pitching stories to top-tier media outlets, writing press releases and op-eds, building relationships with journalists and influencers, tracking media coverage, and coordinating interviews and events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitching stories to key media outlets in education, lifestyle, and business sectors
  • Writing engaging press releases, op-eds, and brand features that showcase our vision and values
  • Building strong relationships with media professionals to amplify our message
  • Tracking media coverage and identifying trending topics to drive engagement
  • Coordinating interviews, events, and thought leadership opportunities to highlight our expertise
  • Promoting student success stories through targeted campaigns

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in PR or a related field, preferably in education or social impact sectors
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills to convey our message effectively
  • A keen eye for story angles and media trends to stay ahead of the curve
  • Familiarity with media tools, including databases and tracking software
  • Comfortable working with leaders, educators, and students to craft compelling narratives
  • A genuine passion for education, values, and purpose-led storytelling
