Job Summary

Leverage your technical expertise to ensure the seamless operation of Linux systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision, configure, and troubleshoot Linux servers (RHEL, Centos, OUL)
  • Implement patches on Linux servers using yum and resolve related issues
  • Utilize general OS troubleshooting skills – Performance analysis, log review, disk-related issue resolution, alert remediation
  • Develop extensive hands-on experience in bash or other scripting for automation
  • Apply knowledge of SFTP and basic network troubleshooting
  • Understand Tomcat and basic troubleshooting concepts – Java fundamentals, Tomcat performance parameters
  • Gain hands-on experience with AWS – Spinning up EC2 instances, patching in AWS, SSM, security groups, disk expansions in AWS using AWS tools
  • Support day-to-day operational issues and runtime operations
  • Effectively communicate complex topics to stakeholders
  • Acquire basic hands-on experience with VMware – Taking snapshots, migration, resource additions
  • Achieve basic knowledge of Ansible/Puppet needed (Troubleshooting Puppet runtime issues and Ansible deployment failures)
  • Ensure vulnerability management and maintain security
  • Proficient in using ITIL process and ticketing tools (Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus)
