We are seeking a skilled and experienced part-time local project consultant to provide strategic support to our project manager in Guwahati, Assam, India.

Main Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Coordinate with our team to prepare and carry out assignments in the field, including regular reporting and status updates on project activities.">
  • Conduct check-ins with partners to ensure alignment on deliverables and timelines.">
  • Act as the on-the-ground point of contact for our team and stakeholders in Guwahati, Assam.">
  • The Consultant will serve as a local representative, coordinating meetings, and resolving community-level challenges.">
  • Support the planning and execution of on-ground events, including Health Camps, Training Sessions, Closing, and other key events.">
  • Co-lead Business Model Development: Collaborate with partners to identify and engage potential stakeholders to discuss and explore viable business models.">
  • Attend meetings and community gatherings in furtherance of the project's Business Model Development objectives.">
  • Represent Pyxera Global's interests and provide feedback and updates on the progress of these discussions.">
  • Provide additional coordination and support to our team beyond the above-described tasks as necessary, particularly regarding the development and refinement of the business model.">
  • Support SHG and Cooperative Formation: Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to support SHG and Cooperative formation Attend meetings and community gatherings in furtherance of the SHG and Cooperative formation.">
  • Provide additional coordination and support to our team beyond the above-described tasks as necessary, particularly regarding the formation of SHG and the Cooperative.">
  • Support On-Ground Partners: Act as the liaison between our team on-ground partners.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Must have residence in Guwahati with in-depth area familiarity.">
  • College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, communications, or related field.">
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience.">
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills.">
  • Awareness of the local social impact ecosystem Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.">
  • Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.">
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.">
  • Fluent in English, Hindi, and Assamese Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.">

This is a part-time consultant position with an estimated timeline of 5-6 months with an immediate start date. The selected local project consultant will be paid INR 400,000 - INR 600,000 per month based on past experience and the type of work required for this position.
