Responsibilities:
- Participate in release and quality assurance activities planning.
- Define scope of work and prioritize tasks independently.
- Design, develop, maintain and improve test cases and test plans according to specified requirements.
- Report test results and defects.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in software.
- Develop and maintain automated tests.
- Analyze test results and configure testing environments.
- Design and enhance automation frameworks.
- Participate in team meetings and adhere to established project workflows.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Ability to perform both automated and manual testing.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
- Perfect understanding of QA processes and methodologies including test planning, test case management tools, bug tracking systems and software development life cycle.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners and developers as well as work independently.
- Self-motivated and quick to learn new technologies.
- Strong communication skills.
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
- Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and role of QA within it.
- Proficiency with testing tools such as TeamCity Cucumber WebdriverIO and experience coding in JavaScript.
- Solid understanding of Page Object Model.
- Experience with REST API testing.
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps.
- Minimum of 5 years in test automation and functional testing including practical experience in automation.
- Ability to work independently as sole automation engineer on project.
