Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

 

Job Description:

 

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure solutions using OpenStack.

 

Responsibilities:

 

* Design and deploy scalable and secure cloud-based infrastructure using OpenStack.

 

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions.

 

* Develop and maintain automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

 

* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.

 

* Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.

 

* Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

* 7-10 years of hands-on experience with OpenStack, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.

 

* Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.

 

* Relevant experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.

 

* Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.

 

* Solid understanding of Linux systems administration.

 

* Knowledge of networking concepts relevant to cloud environments.

 

* Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

 

Good-to-Have Skills:

 

* Experience with monitoring and observability tools.

 

* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

 

* Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

 

Education:

 

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
