We are seeking a seasoned investment professional to join our team as a financial analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equity research and analysis, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality reports and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Analysis
    • The successful candidate will conduct thorough fundamental analysis using company financials, industry trends, and sectoral analysis to inform investment decisions.
    • Develop and maintain rigorous financial models, including DCF and projections, to test assumptions and perform scenario analyses.
  • PMS, AIF, and Mutual Fund Oversight
    • Analyze and monitor fund performance, NAV movements, portfolio composition, and manager strategy to ensure alignment with investment objectives.
    • Engage with fund managers to gain insights and maintain regular updates on portfolio performance.
  • Financial Modeling & Due Diligence
    • Build and maintain comprehensive financial models to support investment decisions and due diligence processes.
    • Execute thorough financial due diligence for new funds or investment proposals to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Reporting & Communication
    • Prepare investor-ready presentations, research dashboards, and detailed write-ups to communicate complex investment ideas and strategies.
    • Deliver market commentary and fund performance summaries to stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Interaction & Market Monitoring
    • Engage with company management to gain insights into business operations and strategy.
    • Synthesize market developments into fund insights to inform investment decisions.
    Requirements & Qualification
    • Educational Background
      • A CFA, CA, MBA in Finance, or NISM certification is highly desirable for this role.
    • Professional Experience
      • The ideal candidate will have 3–8 years of experience in equity research and fund analysis, with a preference for those with exposure to PMS, AIFs, or mutual funds.
    • Technical & Analytical Skills
      • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuations, and database use is essential for this role.
      • Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities are required to effectively communicate complex investment ideas.
    • Soft Skills
      • Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, and presentation skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
      • Comfortable working in high-pressure settings and collaborating across teams.

Desirable Bonus Qualities

  • Prior experience crafting NFO notes, fund reconcilers, or PMS/AIF fact sheets would be an asset.
  • Willingness to attend site visits, management meetings, or industry conferences.
  • Awareness of SEBI/RBI regulatory frameworks affecting PMS, AIF, and mutual fund products.
