Job Summary

At NetApp, we're pushing the boundaries of innovation in cluster computing, web frameworks, and storage solutions. We're seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Lead to join our BlueXP software and application development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud architectures spanning multiple cloud providers.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor other engineers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance security management for Blue XP cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
  • Design and implement security measures for multi-cloud architectures that meet business requirements, developing and maintaining architectural blueprints and documentation.
  • Drive proactive security audits to ensure product security meets best-in-class standards.
  • Develop Identity management and Authentication solutions.
  • Implement security tools to safeguard the cloud control pane.
  • Apply current skills and up-to-date technologies to complete projects throughout the development cycle, including coding, design, development, debugging, reliability, and analysis.
  • Participate in design and technical discussions, evaluating and executing design and development plans for products.
  • Contribute to all phases of product development, from component definition and design to implementation, debugging, and testing.
Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Skills:

  • Strong programming skills in NodeJS, Scala, and GO lang, with a solid understanding of OOPS concepts.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and experience working with them.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and hyperscalers (AWS, AZURE, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Linux and experience working on this platform.

  • Exposure to MySQL and database management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A strong aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • A creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
Compensation and Benefits
