Job Title: Senior Lead Power Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Lead Power Architect to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative power architectures for mobile SoC ASICs.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned engineer to take on a leadership role in designing and optimizing power architectures that drive low-power design techniques and power management strategies, resulting in enhanced chip efficiency and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Power Architectures: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and optimize power architectures for mobile SoC ASICs.
  • Low-Power Design Techniques: Drive the implementation of low-power design techniques and power management strategies.
  • Power Estimation and Reduction Tools: Utilize power estimation and reduction tools (PowerArtist, PTPX, Calypto) to optimize power consumption.
  • Power Dissipation and Savings Techniques: Implement power dissipation and savings techniques, including dynamic clock and voltage scaling.
  • Power Analysis and Thermal Impact Evaluation: Conduct power analysis (leakage and dynamic) and thermal impact evaluation.
  • Voltage Regulators and Power Grids: Design voltage regulators (Buck converters, Low Dropout regulators) and understand ASIC power grids and PCB power distribution networks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of hardware engineering experience.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, circuit design, and system-level power modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Mobile baseband application processor chipset and power grid knowledge.
