Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Microbiologist Lead to join our team at Medivant Healthcare. As a key member of our Quality Control Microbiology department, you will be responsible for overseeing all QMS activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal quality standards.

About the Role: The successful candidate will have a strong background in microbiology and quality control, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving process improvements. You will be responsible for conducting investigations, identifying root causes, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Additionally, you will lead the preparation, review, and approval of QMS documentation, including change controls, risk assessments, and quality records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all QMS activities for the Quality Control Microbiology department.
  • Conduct investigations related to microbiological laboratory OOS/OOT, environmental monitoring deviations, and sterility failures.
  • Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Ensure timely closure of laboratory deviations and maintain thorough documentation.
  • Lead the preparation, review, and approval of QMS documentation, including change controls, risk assessments, and quality records.

Requirements:
  • 10-15 years of experience in Quality Control Microbiology, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Valid B1/B2 Visa for the USA.
  • Willingness to travel for work, including international travel to the USA and other regions as required.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams and prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in QMS tools and software.
