Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to transform raw on-chain data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop event decoders for major DeFi protocols (e.g., Uniswap, Curve, Balancer) to unlock data potential.
  • Create and maintain data extractors that convert on-chain events into structured trade data to drive business decisions.
  • Implement logic to calculate trade prices, including handling swap routing, liquidity pool math, and price inference to optimize trading strategies.
  • Collaborate with data and infrastructure teams to build efficient and scalable data ingestion pipelines to streamline operations.
  • Enhance performance and accuracy of pricing models (e.g., TWAP, oracle logic, tick-based price resolution) to ensure reliable insights.
  • Write clean, well-tested, and efficient backend code in Go or Rust to meet high standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years of backend development experience in Go or Rust to apply advanced concepts.
  • A strong understanding of Ethereum smart contract ABI decoding and event logs to decode complex data.
  • Experience working with DeFi protocols, especially AMM math:
  • Constant product formulas: x * y = k
  • Uniswap V3 ticks
  • TWAP / oracle logic
  • Familiarity with EVM-based chains and Ethereum node infrastructure (e.g., Geth, Erigon, RPC APIs).
  • Experience building data extraction or indexing tools (e.g., subgraphs, custom indexers).
  • The ability to work independently and own complex backend systems from design to deployment.
