As a highly skilled Garment Technician, you will play a pivotal role in translating AI-generated clothing visuals into production-ready garment specifications.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in garment tech or production development in the fashion industry. Strong technical expertise in fit, finishing, and fabric behavior is essential. Prior experience working with Western wear or made-to-measure garments is also required.
You will be responsible for interpreting AI-generated fashion designs into detailed tech packs with accurate measurements and construction guidelines. Additionally, you will develop specification sheets covering sizing, fabric type, seam construction, trims, and finishing techniques.
Collaboration with pattern makers, production, and design teams is crucial to ensure feasibility and manufacturability. You will establish quality control checkpoints across sampling and production stages. Conducting inspections for measurements, workmanship, and finish during pre-production and post-production reviews is also a key responsibility.
Audit in-housed fabrics and trims; approve only materials meeting quality standards. Setting clear standard operating procedures (SOPs) for construction techniques across garments is also a critical task.
