Senior QA Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our QA squad, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and automating processes that ensure seamless customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create innovative tools and tests that craft unforgettable customer experiences.
  • Develop and maintain robust test cases, system & integration test cases, and automated scripts for software development life cycles.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to validate functionalities, code quality, and report results in adherence to formal test architectures and project processes.
  • Track crucial metrics such as velocity, code quality, defect density, code review metrics, and testing metrics across sprints and report to management.
  • Document thorough testing results, including expected behavior, actual behavior, and detailed steps to reproduce defects.
  • Provide quality sign-off to project teams and execute testing duties assigned.
  • Configure high-performance QA environments under load using load testing designs and execution.
  • Incorporate client feedback and usage into test scripts to mirror end-user behavior.
  • Detect problems, report bugs, and suggest enhancements to the Agile squad.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM or related field required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of application testing experience.
  • Experience with use case generation, manual testing, bug lifecycle management, relational database models, and GUI tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile environments and tools like JIRA, Azure TFS, and Git.
  • Proficiency in multi-browser and mobile device systems testing.
  • Strong communication, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passionate about building exceptional products.
  • Experience in C#, JUnit/TestNG, Jenkins, Playwright, Selenium, SoapUI, and API testing (JSON, REST).
