Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with very strong experience in Java and automation framework development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and REST Assured.
  • Build and implement scalable, reusable test automation libraries and utilities, focusing on efficiency and code quality.
  • Automate testing for web, API, and backend services to ensure seamless integration and minimize bugs.
  • Closely collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the development process.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation scripts to optimize performance and eliminate errors.
  • Maintain test coverage, document tests, and provide automation strategy input to drive best practices across the team.
  • Drive best practices in test automation by mentoring junior QA engineers on automation and coding practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong coding experience in Java is essential for this role.
  • Expertise in automation framework design and development is crucial for success.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle is required.
  • API automation experience using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation is necessary for efficient data analysis.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools is required to streamline the development process.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology is essential for successful collaboration.
