As a Project Manager at Johnson Controls, you will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control and completion of projects while remaining aligned with our strategy, commitments and goals.

What You Will Do

  1. Plan and implement projects with clear understanding of project scope, goals and deliverables within specified timeframe.
  2. Define tasks and required resources using Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
  3. Collect and manage project team by working with stakeholders from different organizations.
  4. Manage project budget by working with Finance to deliver financial budget results.
  5. Allocate project resources by identifying individual lead contributors and creating resource-loaded plan.
  6. Create project schedule and timeline using backward pass methodology.
  7. Support and direct team by providing oversight and direction on weekly basis.
  8. Lead quality assurance by ensuring all quality metrics meet KPI's.
  9. Report on project status on weekly basis to stakeholders.
  10. Present reports on progress, problems and solutions to stakeholders.
  11. Implement best practices and continuous improvement processes.
  12. Adhere to JCI internal product development process.
  13. Demonstrate organization's values by example.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per year. As a member of our team, you will receive competitive benefits, including comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of experience in project/product management or business systems analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • PMP – Project Management Professional certification.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
