Project Manager Role

About the Job:

The role involves providing project management services for Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier. As a skilled project manager, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Management: Define different project templates, schedules, global codes, resource codes, calendars, EPS, OBS hierarchies, cost codes, users, user roles, project and global privileges, and different views for users.
  • Work Breakdown Structures: Create work breakdown structures (WBS) at various levels and update actuals, scheduling, controlling, and monitoring status periodically.
  • Cost Management: Have experience in cost management, EVM, contract cash flow, drawing, inspection, quality risk, claim, payment application, user administration, management, and modules.
  • Requirement Gathering: Conduct requirement gathering, business blueprint meetings, UAT meetings, and conduct training on the Primavera P6 EPPM implemented module.
  • Documentation: Prepare requirement gathering documents, BBP documents, test scripts, UAT documents, and training documents.
  • Technical Expertise: Have strong knowledge of Primavera P6 web services and APIs. Understand backend database table structures to fetch report data for Primavera P6 tools.
  • SQL Queries: Write complex SQL queries.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with teams to design and test enhancements to Primavera P6 and Primavera, primarily developing additional UDR and custom reports with BI Publisher and carrying out enhancements.
  • Change Management: Have knowledge of general change management and supply chain processes.
  • Schedule Generation: Prepare EPC project schedules.
  • P6 Mobility: Have knowledge of P6 mobility.
  • Reporting: Generate reports, application-wise reports in the form of tables, bars, pie charts, trend lines, etc.
