Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager – Finance/ Accounting to join our team at Asian Hires. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising corporate accounting activities, with a focus on end-to-end billing processes, collection, and revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the corporate accounting activities, ensuring smooth month-end closing activities.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable, Revenue Accounting, and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain and enforce a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and internal safeguards.
  • Evaluate accounting and internal control systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting function, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving departmental goals and objectives.
  • Train, develop, and lead the accounting team to maximize individual strengths and create a high-functioning team.
  • Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients by addressing inquiries regarding invoicing, payments, and aging status.
  • Develop and publish reporting metrics of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Integrate analysis with the balance of the finance team to ensure a consistent financial view across the organization.
  • Understand and adhere to all company policies, including security, trade secrets, and confidentiality of all information.

Requirements:

  • Graduation in Business, Accounting, or Finance; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of professional hands-on accounting experience, including 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Exposure to other popular accounting applications, such as Tally and QuickBooks.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with problem-solving ability.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under stress with interruptions and deadlines.
  • Ability to support and coordinate with onshore teams based out of US offices.

Additional Requirements: Flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.
