This role offers a unique opportunity to lead cloud, web, and container security initiatives using Azure, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing security risk assessments and vulnerability mitigation for cloud/web platforms.
  • Securing APIs, web services, and container environments using best practices like OAuth, RBAC, and TLS/SSL.
  • Analysing CVEs and applying countermeasures for OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
  • Working with SIEM tools like Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, and QRadar for incident detection and response.
  • Implementing and managing compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and CIS Benchmarks.
  • Designing end-to-end security solutions including WAF, IAM, and API gateways.
  • Collaborating with DevOps and other teams to embed security in SDLC.
  • Generating and presenting technical and executive-level security reports.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Cloud Security (Azure, AWS).
  • Hands-on experience in container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep knowledge of threat detection, vulnerability assessment, and SIEM tools.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS).
  • Understanding of Linux and network security.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA Cloud+ or Microsoft SC-900 or CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • ISC Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) or OffSec WEB-200 certification.
  • Other relevant cloud/web security credentials.
