Data Integration Specialist

As a Data Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing complex ETL pipelines using Talend Open Studio. You will work with BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform to create efficient data integration solutions.

This is a remote position that requires 8 to 10 years of experience in data integration. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and expertise in the following areas:

  • Talend Data Integration: Designing and optimizing complex ETL pipelines, debugging, and deployment using TMC
  • BigQuery: Partitioning, clustering, federated queries, advanced SQL (CTEs, arrays, window functions)
  • Python: ETL scripting, automation, and integration with cloud data pipelines
  • PostgreSQL: PL/pgSQL functions, triggers, query optimization, materialized views
  • Cloud (GCP): Hands-on experience with Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Google Cloud Storage

The successful candidate will also have proficiency in Git/GitHub workflows with branching, PR reviews, and CI/CD using Jenkins. Experience with BigQuery ML, advanced performance optimization for BigQuery slots and reservations, and familiarity with offline-first data solutions and advanced integration strategies are nice to have.
