Job Opportunity

The role of a Fixed Income Trader involves actively trading in various fixed income instruments, including government bonds, Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Interest Rate Futures (IRF), and corporate bonds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage proprietary trading activities in fixed income instruments.
  • Explore new investment opportunities in dynamic market scenarios and generate profitability through trading.
  • Maintain adherence to regulatory guidelines and the firm's investment policy.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with representatives from banks, primary dealers, mutual funds, insurance funds, and brokerages firms.
Candidate Profile:
  • Possess an MBA in Finance or Economics from a premium institution or CA/CFA certification.
  • Have extensive experience in onshore INR Macro Trading and knowledge of the Indian rates market.
  • Hold at least 3-6 years of experience in trading government bonds, OIS, and IRF.
  • Be well-versed with CCIL applications, including NDS-OM/TREPS/CROMS platforms.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the money market and debt market along with regulatory requirements and compliance.
  • Exhibit a strong track record of revenue generation.
  • Possess strong relationship-building skills and presentation skills.
