Job Description

Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India is seeking a skilled Software Integration Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Autosar software integration, classic and adaptive, with a focus on the Mercedes-Benz Operating System.

Responsibilities

  • Integrate software components for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including BSW libraries, application software, and AUTOSAR software stack.
  • Set up and maintain build environments, ensuring CI/CD pipeline operational efficiency.
  • Debug integration issues, perform worst-case analysis, and evaluate system performance.
  • Execute standard tests, analyze results, and address bugs to internal and external development partners.
  • Analyze requirements in provided specifications, write test cases for functional parts, and ensure linking of test cases and requirements.
  • Implement and execute test cases, analyze results, and enter bugs into the bug tracking system.
  • Drive bug resolution in coordination with internal and external development teams.
  • Execute Scrum master role and Agile framework in all software development life cycles.

Desired Skills

  • Strong knowledge of software integration of BSW libraries, ASW, and third-party libraries using cmake and bazel build systems.
  • Strong integration, smoke, and unit testing knowledge with different test cases.
  • Knowledge of system testing, black box testing, and functional level of testing and developing test cases.
  • Experience with Canoe, CanCaseXL, CAN Diva, VtestStudio, NEST, and NTS.
  • Good programming skills in C/C++, CAPL, and Python.
  • Understanding of Bazel and cmake tool chains.
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols, AUTOSAR, BSW, and UDS.

Requirements

  • Masters or Bachelors in Engineering.
  • 6+ years of experience in software integration and testing.
