Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished technical leader with experience in building resilient, scalable, and secure platforms using open-source and commercial software. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with account teams, product management, and other engineering teams to architect, design, and develop sophisticated products.

You will demonstrate strong technical leadership through innovative solutions to customer problems and successful deployment. Additionally, you will partner with senior architects across the organization on new opportunities and broad initiatives.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing complex projects, working with managers for detailed planning and execution strategy, identifying intermediate achievements, and mentoring junior team members. You will also contribute to the development of long-term expertise, technical proficiency, and innovation within the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and delivery
  • Demonstrate strong technical leadership through innovative solutions and successful deployment
  • Partner with senior architects on new opportunities and broad initiatives
  • Develop complex projects with detailed planning and execution strategy
  • Mentor junior team members to develop long-term expertise and technical proficiency
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in the Networking industry, including technical leadership roles
  • In-depth knowledge of routing and switching technologies, especially SR, SRv6, EVPN, MPLS, VXLAN, and various L2/L3 protocols
  • Extensive experience in architecting and designing complex networking systems and software engineering principles
  • Expertise in C, C++, Python, and Linux kernel programming
