BIM Engineer Job Description

As a BIM Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our team specializing in design, engineering, and fabrication of custom architectural fiberglass and GFRC products for the commercial construction industry.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in creating construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software, as well as 3D modeling expertise using Revit Software.

Key responsibilities include setting up projects, creating parametric families, providing materials, and managing the Revit server from a production perspective. Additionally, you will be responsible for completing attachment and detail markups for company products, translating less specific design direction into functional documents, and building FRP and GFRC products like columns, cupolas, cornices, domes, balustrades, entryways, and different types of cladding systems.

  • Create high-quality 3D BIM models using industry-standard software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD).
  • Implement BIM best practices, including LOD (Level of Development) standards.
  • Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and resolve design conflicts.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure seamless integration of all building systems.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum expectation of 45 hours per week. Late evening hours may be required occasionally to align with the U.S.-based team.
