Senior Credentialing Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage provider enrollments, insurance credentialing, and provider contracting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas and be able to work independently in a remote setting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of provider credentialing and enrollment processes.
  • Engage with payers via calls and emails to ensure successful processing of applications.
  • Demonstrate expertise in submitting required documentation for various payers and platforms.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on the provider status with payers.
  • Manage end-to-end processes for creating and maintaining provider details on multiple platforms.
  • Handle application and renewal processes for all provider licenses.
  • Ensure continuous updating and maintenance of client and application data.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in provider credentialing and enrollment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in using credentialing portals and managing associated documentation.
  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging with clients and payers.

Requirements:

  • A dedicated laptop or PC with I5+ processor, 8GB RAM, Windows 10/11, and MS Office 2013+
  • Quiet home office with minimal distractions
  • At least 1 year of experience working from home successfully during EST hours
  • Fast, dedicated internet connection (minimum 50MB)
  • 9am-6pm EST Monday-Friday shift
