About the Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iSeries/AS400/RPG programming and a minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Proficiency in SQLRPGLE, Query/400 – ILE Advanced concepts, complex SQL concepts, FTP automation, and OS/400 commands is essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • Technical Support & Operations: Perform CL programming tasks for automation, ensuring seamless system uptime and data availability.
  • Data Center Expertise: Possess hands-on experience working within an enterprise-wide data center environment, fostering robust database management and security practices.
  • Testing & Deployment: Provide technical support during testing, assist in deployment, and offer post-deployment support to ensure business continuity.
  • Client Interaction: Interact effectively with the client team independently, leveraging expertise in iSeries Navigator and Integrated File System (IFS).
  • Bonus Skills: Any experience in Web services, Application Integration, or Modernization areas of AS/400 would be highly valued.
