Financial Operations Professional

This is a comprehensive role focused on financial operations management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end financials, including gross sales, revenue recognition, sales deductions, and gross-to-net accruals, along with thorough reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain a robust controls and compliance framework to ensure adherence to DoA regulations and other applicable compliance requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly Financial Statements Management Information System (FS MIS) reports, encompassing balance sheet schedules and intercompany reconciliation, as well as profit elimination.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and prepare monthly management information system (MIS) reports for review meetings, focusing on control and compliance matters.
Key Areas of Focus:
  • Governance, tax compliance, including VAT, import/export taxes, and direct taxes.
  • Statutory GAAP reporting and compliance at the local market level.
  • Monthly/quarterly balance sheet controls/reconciliations (fixed assets, accounts receivable/payable, provisions, advances), as well as statutory, local audit support, and Sox assistance for markets.
Additional Requirements:
  • Continuously improve processes across the value chain.
  • Maintain up-to-date MIS/reporting systems, circulating monthly Profit & Loss statements for markets, customers, brands, formats across geographies, and track financial performance against budgets, latest forecasts, and last year's figures.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of global and market-level gross margin variances, examining price, cost, volume/mix by brands, formats, and customers across geographies.
