About the Role

As a Financial Analyst intern, you will be working on projects that involve analyzing financial data, conducting investment research, and developing risk models. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple mini-projects or take up a focused innovation-based research project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct financial data analysis, including data cleaning, wrangling, and pre-processing.
  • Assist investment teams in equity research, portfolio management, and economic analysis.
  • Apply statistical techniques to solve complex financial problems such as credit risk modelling, probability of default, and value-at-risk estimation.
  • Work with large financial datasets, including financial reports and macroeconomic data.
  • Use Python, Excel, or R to analyze, visualize, and model financial data.
  • Participate in research projects related to quantitative trading and portfolio optimization.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are also necessary.

A basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Excel, or R can help complete the projects efficiently. We encourage the use of machine learning models and natural language processing tools to develop innovative solutions.
