We are seeking a dedicated MEP Construction Manager to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work throughout the construction process of a building.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development & Compliance Management:
  • Create initial designs for MEP services and assess their constructability.
  • Review legal compliance of designs and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Coordination & Execution Oversight:
  • Coordinate with all disciplines of services design.
  • Ensure contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approval.
  • Implement conditions of approval at site during execution in a timely manner.
  • Execute services work as per drawings and specification in line with schedule and quality.
  • Procurement & System Implementation:
  • Select vendors and local material supply vendors in line with agreed procurement process.
  • Install, test, and commission equipment related to all services (Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing, Firefighting).
  • Manage handovers, ensuring all works are complete as per vendor contracts.
  • Ensure receipt of relevant documents like manuals and test certificates, as-built drawings.

Required Skills:

  • Sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing settings within the construction process.
  • Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications:

  • A B.E. Electrical/Mech degree.
  • Proven experience particularly in Hospital / Multi-Specialty projects.
