Software Development Lead Analyst

Position Overview:

This position involves developing software solutions for the Technology Portfolio Performance team. You will work on several large-scale technology initiatives aimed at transforming healthcare delivery systems in the United States. The primary goal is to enhance Evernorth's market-winning capabilities in Technology Operations. Our solution focuses on optimizing technology operations and leveraging the latest technologies and development techniques to drive change.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software solutions.
  • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Develop engineering solutions aligned with the Technology strategy and meeting application requirements as well as industry-standard best practices.
  • Maximize operational, performance, and cost efficiency of application assets.
  • Sizes User Stories based on time/difficulty to complete.
  • Provides input on specific challenges facing User Stories.
  • Discusses risks, dependencies, and assumptions.
  • Determines if User Stories meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Selects User Stories to be completed in the Iteration, based on User Story priority and team capacity and velocity.
  • Participates in daily stand-ups.
  • Brings innovative solutions to the team.
  • Actively participates in team ceremonies.

Qualifications:

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience delivering complex software solutions.
  • Working experience with AWS, Linux-based OS.
  • React Framework front-end development.
  • Java Spring Boot Skills are a must.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM/KANBAN.
  • Familiarity with modern delivery practices like continuous integration, behavior/test-driven development, and specification by example.
  • Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship management skills.

Desired Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills to challenge design recommendations.
  • Understanding of Java and React.

Required Experience & Education:

  • 5-8 Years Experience.
  • College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
