Security Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to manage physical security operations. This role involves overseeing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security protocols across various facilities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid background in physical security operations, and functional expertise in data analysis and reporting.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security programs covering access control, CCTV systems, emergency response procedures, visitor management, and incident handling.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits at all sites to ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulatory standards.
- Oversee third-party security vendors, ensuring they adhere to contractual obligations and deliver high-quality services.
- Analyze security data using advanced tools to uncover insights and inform decision-making.
- Create and maintain dashboards and executive reports to communicate key metrics and performance indicators.
- Maintain accurate security records and utilize data analytics platforms for logging incidents, managing standard operating procedures, and coordinating cross-functional responses.
- Lead investigations into security incidents, collaborating with internal stakeholders, legal teams, and law enforcement agencies as necessary.
- Support collaboration between IT security, facilities, health and safety, and compliance teams to develop integrated safety solutions.
Applicants should possess:
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as criminal justice, security management, or business administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in a physical security role within corporate environments.
- Proficiency in security technologies, including CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and incident management software.
- A basic understanding of data analytics platforms, such as Tableau, and proficiency in spreadsheet software like Google Sheets.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
