Material Master Data Analyst Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Effective management and maintenance of accurate and consistent material master data across supply chain, procurement, finance, and production functions.
  • Supporting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making through the provision of reliable data insights.
  • Extension of new material codes in various depots with HSN Code, Shipping point, planned price, standard cost for materials in India.
  • Maintenance of material master data within established standards.
  • Utilization of SAP MDO Tools for creation of new VERP, ROH, and HAWA codes to enhance data quality.
  • Work on Service now ticketing tool and MDO Tools for workflow testing and material creation, extension, and change activities.
  • Performance of material master change activity, material availability check in system, and stock checking.
  • Transfer of materials using MIGO process.
  • Training of end-users on material activities such as creation, change, and extension.
  • Provision of production data for BOM, routing, and work centre creation via BDC Report.
  • Adherence to tasks and role assigned; support business requirements by working extended hours when necessary.
  • Preparation of MDM MIS and DASHBOARD reports on daily/weekly basis.
  • Meeting of defined SLA for respective activities.
  • Requirement of experience in SAP ECC/HANA systems.
