Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with Expertise in Azure Solutions

As a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, deploy, and manage high-availability Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security. Your expertise in Azure solutions will enable you to work collaboratively with a distributed cross-org team of engineers, architects, and data analysts to prioritize modularity, reusability, and componentization of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design high-availability Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability and security.
- Manage pipelines for CI/CD and Release Management workflows, including GitHub-Jenkins integration and deployment through Terraform.
- Implement Azure governance and security practices, including RBAC, policies, and Azure Security Center.
- Administer Power BI, including user access, data security, and performance.
- Work collaboratively with a distributed cross-org team to design and implement cloud monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Support products that are live in the cloud by building monitoring and testing tooling, responding to real-time customer-reported incidents, and defining best practices for operational readiness.
- 7+ years of experience with Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work independently as well as with a team.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure.
- 3+ years of experience with Data bricks on Azure.
- 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
- Experience with PowerShell, ARM templates, and Azure DevOps for automation.
- Experience of working on Azure key vault/Kubernetes secrets/Hashicorp vault.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Power BI Administration.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure certification is a plus.
- Healthcare IT experience with compliance such as HIPAA and/or HITRUST, experience with security controls.
- ITIL v3 certification.
- Experience working in Windows/Unix/Linux environments.
- Expert of formal architecture, design patterns, and best practices for Azure cloud services.
- Experience integrating with disparate data sources (EPIC, Hadoop, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience in migrating existing on-prem product to cloud.
