BMC CMDB Support Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and support our BMC environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with BMC's suite of products, including Action Request System, IT Service Management, and Atrium Core.

Key Responsibilities
  • BMC Platform Administration: Manage the installation, upgrade, customization, administration, and support of BMC Remedy AR System, along with the IT Service Management Suite and applications.
  • Configuration & Administration: Configure and administer various components, including Foundation data, Approval Server, Remedy Knowledge Management, and Service Level Management.
  • Service Request Management: Perform administrative tasks for Service Request Management, such as creating Service Request Definitions (SRDs) and Advanced Interface Forms (AIFs).
  • Integrations: Integrate BMC systems with third-party applications like IBM Maximo, IBM Websphere, xMatters, and Lotus Notes.
  • Reporting & Discovery: Work with Smart Reporting and Smart IT. Manage the upgrade, administration, and support of the BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping tool and its synchronization with the Configuration Management Database.
  • Atrium Core Expertise: Handle Atrium Core, Asset Management, Reconciliation, Normalization, and Spoon Job creation activities.
  • Technical Skills: Utilize technologies like Distributed System Object, Email Engine, Web Service, and REST APIs.
