Senior Java Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Application Developer to join our team at Deqode. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable Java applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features that meet business requirements, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Experience with Springboot and Microservices is essential for success in this role, with knowledge of designing and implementing microservices architectures.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize application performance and resolve issues efficiently, with a focus on root cause analysis and preventative measures.
- Contribute to code reviews and continuous improvement efforts to ensure high-quality software delivery, with a focus on security and compliance.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Java Development, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating expertise in complex system design and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks, with the ability to apply them effectively in real-world scenarios, including multi-threading and concurrency.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases, with experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions, including data modeling and query optimization.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles, with the ability to design and implement object-oriented systems, including inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, product owners, and other developers.
Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory, the following skills are desirable:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, with knowledge of cloud-based deployment and management, including autoscaling and load balancing.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with experience in automating testing and deployment processes, including containerization and orchestration.
- Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Angular or React, with experience in building user interfaces and user experiences, including responsive design and accessibility.
