Job Opportunity: Experienced Indirect Tax Professional

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Indirect Tax Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on GST compliance, financial reporting, and efficient tax management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9) in adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile purchase records with GSTR 2A/2B, resolve discrepancies with vendors, and ensure accurate Input Tax Credit (ITC) calculations and utilization
  • Manage daily accounting transactions in Tally or other ERP software, maintaining accurate records of sales, purchases, and expenses
  • Coordinate with CA/auditors for tax audits and assessments, providing essential documentation as required
  • Generate reports for internal use, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and TDS summaries, ensuring timely submission
  • Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, and professional tax, maintaining open communication with vendors, customers, and government authorities

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting, focusing on GST filing, reconciliation, and tax management
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP, Excel, and basic MS Office tools
  • Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, ITC rules, and regulatory deadlines
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or product-based company
  • Background in coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants
