Job Title: Senior Network Security Test EngineerJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Security Test Engineer to join our team in Hyderabad. The successful candidate will lead the team in conducting comprehensive Linux NIC driver testing, ensuring the reliability and performance of the underlying network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced network security testing strategies, including the integration of AI/ML techniques to identify and mitigate complex threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, reviewing and providing feedback on architecture design and implementation approaches.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • Ensure the quality and reliability of the product by creating and implementing testing strategies, reviewing test plans and test cases, and conducting code reviews.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the field of network security and continuously evaluate and implement new approaches to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Actively participate in the hiring and onboarding of new team members, contributing to the growth and development of the network security testing team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in Linux NIC (Network Interface Card) driver testing, with a strong understanding of the underlying networking concepts and Linux kernel internals.
  • Proficient in testing knowledge and implementation of various networking technologies, including VLAN, IPSec, TCP offload, IPSec offload, NAT, Multicast, TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, and ARP.
  • Expertise in configuring and testing the strongSwan VPN solution, ensuring secure and reliable connectivity.
  • Proven skills in conducting advanced network attack testing, such as SSH brute-force attacks, SSH header, SMURF, DDoS attacks, HULK, Slowloris, Benign, Teardrop, and SYN flood.
  • Adept at network performance and stress testing using tools like iperf, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and optimize network configurations.
  • Highly familiar with a wide range of network debugging tools, including Wireshark, tcpdump, Nmap, Ping, and Traceroute, and the ability to effectively use them for in-depth analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Thorough understanding of firewall rules, access control lists (ACLs), and security best practices to ensure the robustness and reliability of network systems.
  • Extensive experience in integrating AI/ML techniques for advanced network security testing, including the ability to develop custom algorithms and models to detect and mitigate complex threats.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to the engineering team, review and provide feedback on architecture, design, and implementation approaches, and mentor and coach team members.
