Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining laboratory operations across various sites.

This position involves ensuring that all test equipment is up-to-date with calibration and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of laboratory instruments and tools, including DMMs and analyzers.
  • Maintenance of strong work experience in cable harness fabrication (crimping & Soldering) according to industry standards.
  • Detailed knowledge of power systems used across laboratories (AC & DC).
  • Planning the layout of laboratory spaces and exploring opportunities for optimization.
  • Planning electrical and mechanical requirements for laboratories and supporting the deployment of test benches.
  • Cable fabrication, soldering, laboratory equipment handling, ESD in laboratory environments, and a good understanding of IPC-A-610 certification.
  • Electrical and mechanical integration knowledge.
  • Proactive communication with users and collaboration with product teams to understand overall test solution needs.
  • Effective mapping of competitive landscapes, benchmarking design and technology trends.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of industry experience in laboratory management with hands-on experience in equipment calibration, testing, and maintenance.
  • Diploma or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating with different teams across organizations for laboratory upgrades and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of various types of cable harnesses and connectors (DSUB, Circular).
  • Good understanding of laboratory equipment, their functions, and input requirements.
  • Good understanding of laboratory electrical, mechanical, and cooling requirements.
  • Go-getter attitude and ability to navigate complex business scenarios.
  • Good understanding of AC and DC power supply systems.
  • Prior hands-on experience in test solutions.
