About the Role

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs to support clients.

  • Develop, write, and test CNC programs for various machines and equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining requirements and specifications.
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Optimize existing programs for improved accuracy, cycle time reduction, and productivity enhancement.
  • Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and refine processes, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and program archives for future reference.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) software, including Alphacam, Fusion 360, and Solidworks.
  • Familiarity with various materials, including metals and plastics.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
