Senior Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures.

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Network Security Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and supporting Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst switches, UCS infrastructure, and AVI load balancers.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing enterprise-level telecom and networking infrastructure, including conditional access, authentication policies, and integration with federated identity services. They will also have hands-on experience with micro-segmentation solutions using Cisco ACI and VMware NSX.

In addition to their technical expertise, the Senior Network Security Engineer will be expected to develop and maintain automation/orchestration scripts using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet/Chef. They will drive efficiency through infrastructure as code (IaC) and repeatable automation processes.

The successful candidate will ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure components. They will perform patch and vulnerability management across enterprise infrastructure and ensure compliance with ITSM and change management processes.

Participating in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis is also an essential part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect, implement, and support Palo Alto firewalls, Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst switches, UCS infrastructure, and AVI load balancers.
  • Design and deploy micro-segmentation solutions using Cisco ACI and VMware NSX.
  • Manage enterprise-level telecom and networking infrastructure.
  • Architect and manage Azure networking solutions, including conditional access, authentication policies, and integration with federated identity services.
  • Configure and support identity providers such as Microsoft ADFS, Azure AD, and SAML 2.0 for secure enterprise systems.
  • Manage enterprise storage solutions, including Pure Storage and Cohesity backup platforms.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain automation/orchestration scripts using PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, Puppet/Chef.
  • Drive efficiency through infrastructure as code (IaC) and repeatable automation processes.
  • Perform patch and vulnerability management across enterprise infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with ITSM and change management processes.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • In-depth expertise in Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst switching, AVI Load Balancer, and wiring fundamentals.
  • Proven experience with micro-segmentation (ACI/NSX).
  • Hands-on experience in telecom & networking (preferably i3).
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco UCS infrastructure.
  • Experience managing storage technologies (Pure, Cohesity).
  • Expertise in identity providers & federated identity services (ADFS, SAML 2.0, Azure AD).
  • Strong exposure to Azure Networking and cloud security solutions.
  • Proficiency in automation tools (PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, Terraform).
  • Experience with patch and vulnerability management tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and change management processes.
