Job Description

At the forefront of Health Economics & Outcomes Research, we seek an accomplished Associate to spearhead our observational database analytics and evidence synthesis initiatives. This role will be responsible for the scientific and methodological aspects of all internal RWE studies/analyses with minimal supervision.

  • Provide strategic consultation on objectives, study design, data source identification, protocol development, statistical analysis, and interpretation.
  • Execute RWE studies/analyses by leveraging SAS, claim databases, EMR databases, registry data, and public files.
  • Deliver high-quality, readily interpretable results (e.g., data tables, graphs, charts, study reports).
  • Develop mock table shells, prepare specifications, and ensure quality control on analyses conducted by junior programmers.
  • Effectively manage and track all studies/analyses to ensure timely completion and stakeholder awareness.
  • Communicate research findings internally and externally, as appropriate (e.g., congresses, publications).
  • Stay abreast of the latest methodologies and analytical techniques.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with:

  • A minimum MS in statistics, biostatistics, epidemiology, health economics and outcomes research, health policy, or similar.
  • At least 2 years' hands-on experience in observational data studies.
  • Professional programming skills with SAS. SQL and R programming experience are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and study management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex HE&OR study results in a clear, non-technical manner to internal cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, diverse environment.
  • Ability to identify new opportunities and solutions.
