Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead the development of a scalable and extensible big data platform. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and evolving highly distributed components using big data technologies.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products, experience working with complex data sets from various sources, and expertise in functional and object-oriented programming.

This role requires strong technical leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and product managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components using big data technologies.
  • Lead a team of developers in day-to-day design and coding tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and ensure the greatest ROI for customers.

  • 9+ years of relevant work experience and a computer science or related technical discipline.
  • Proven track record of building and shipping large-scale engineering products.
  • Experience working with complex data sets from various sources.
  • Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming.
