Sr Quality Engineer Role Overview
- In this role, you will ensure high-quality products through rigorous testing.
- You will play a key part in developing tools and tests that deliver exceptional customer experiences.
As a Sr Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and developing tools and tests that meet exceptional standards.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive test cases and automated scripts.
- Executing manual and automated testing to validate product functionality and code quality.
- Monitoring and tracking key performance metrics for each sprint.
- Documenting detailed test results, including expected behavior and step-by-step reproduction of defects.
- Providing quality assurance sign-off to project teams and executing assigned testing duties.
- Configuring and executing load tests to ensure high-performance software under heavy usage.
- Integrating client feedback and usage data into test scripts to simulate end-user behavior.
- Diagnosing issues, identifying bugs, and reporting enhancements to the Agile development team.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or related discipline is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in application testing.
- Expertise in use case generation, manual testing, and bug lifecycle management.
- Understanding of relational database models and proficiency with GUI tools.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
