As a Strategic Financial Business Partner, you will ensure that key commercial metrics are tracked accurately and provide detailed analysis to support the business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cross-Functional Reporting: Collaborate with commercial, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that financial and operational data are accurately captured, interpreted, and presented in a manner that meets each team's needs.
  • Data Integration: Consolidate data from multiple sources (sales, marketing, finance, operations) to create comprehensive reports that support cross-functional decision-making.
  • Dashboards & Reports: Build and maintain interactive financial dashboards and reports that visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) across various departments.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Prepare customized reports for different teams, including tracking project costs, performance metrics, and commercial KPIs (e.g., sales margin, customer acquisition costs, and profitability).

In this role, you will work closely with the commercial team to analyze revenue, sales performance, margins, and profitability. You will also conduct in-depth analysis of product lines, sales channels, and customer segments to drive strategic decisions that enhance profitability.

You will act as a key financial business partner to the commercial team, providing clear, actionable financial insights and communicating complex financial data in an understandable way. You will present regular updates to senior management regarding commercial performance and opportunities for improvement.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and experience with financial reporting tools like SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar. You will also need to build and maintain financial models, particularly for profitability analysis and forecasting.

A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required. 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, with exposure to commercial teams or business strategy, is preferred. Experience in cross-functional reporting is highly desirable.
