Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Specification Writer to join our team.
- As a Specification Writer, you will be responsible for ensuring that specifications are accurate and meet the required standards.
- You will work closely with regional teams to review and update specifications in line with regular renewal dates.
About the Role
The role of a Specification Writer is to drive the migration of legacy specifications to SAP systems and validate them with regional teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop clear, concise, and accurate specifications. Your primary focus will be on ING and Non-ING specifications (excluding Label & Packaging).
Key Responsibilities:
- Migrate legacy specs to SAP systems and validate with regional teams pre-go-live on CAST.
- Collaborate with Regional teams to review and update ING & Non-ING specifications in line with regular spec renewal dates.
- Work with cross-functional teams and external resources to develop ING and Non-ING specifications.
- Ensure all requests are processed, documented, and delivered within defined SLAs.
- Identify potential areas for process improvements and make recommendations to R&D Leadership.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Food Safety, Food Technology, Food Science, or Microbiology.
- 2-3 years of experience in Regulatory, QA/QC, Food Analytical experience, or other Food-related FMCG in a technical role.
- 1-2 years of experience in Product Development or Specification Writing.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
