We are seeking a skilled professional to work on a remote project in India for a US client. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in AI/ML, Python development, and production systems.

Job Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
  • Successful deployment of at least one AI system that is currently running in production
  • Experience working with LLM frameworks such as LangChain, CrewAI, or AutoGen (any one is sufficient)
  • Ability to build AI systems that can call external APIs and functions using function calling/tool use
  • Fundamental understanding of basic prompt engineering techniques like Chain-of-Thought and ReAct patterns
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in Python development with strong fundamentals
  • Experience developing APIs using Flask or FastAPI with proper error handling
  • Understanding of async programming concepts and the ability to write concurrent operations using async/await patterns
  • Database integration experience working with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases
  • Proficiency in consuming and building REST services using JSON/REST APIs
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience building production software that serves real users
  • Knowledge of error handling and logging best practices to build robust systems that handle failures gracefully
  • Basic cloud deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (any one platform)
  • Collaborative development experience using Git workflows and version control
  • Fundamental knowledge of testing principles including unit testing and integration testing practices
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and drive user requirements
  • Data quality expertise recognizing and handling dirty/inconsistent data
  • Exception handling skills designing workflows for edge cases and errors
  • A minimum of 3 years' total software development experience
  • Experience with at least one production AI project deployed to production (even simple ones)
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience working with non-technical stakeholders
  • Problem-solving skills demonstrated through ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
  • Technical documentation expertise including writing clear technical documents and code comments
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to business users and stakeholders
  • Independent work experience with minimal supervision
  • Learning agility quickly picking up new technologies and frameworks

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience through projects/work. A portfolio of production projects, including an AI application and Python projects, is also required.
