About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineering Specialist to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Reliability Engineering, preferably in Electrical Power Systems - HVDC and Power Grids.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing reliability prediction using parts count and parts stress methods, as well as drafting failure mode and effect analysis sheets. They will also develop test plans, work with lab staff to execute reliability tests, and review design test fixtures and scripts.

Additionally, the candidate will maintain test data files, participate in failure analysis, and perform reliability analysis and FEA analysis to formulate hypotheses and validate them through testing. They will also analyze test data to understand trends and variations in performance data.

The Reliability Engineering Specialist will create interim and final engineering reports within agreed timelines, utilizing SW tools like PTC Windchill Relex for prediction, FMEA, and Reliasoft Weibull++. They will also generate reports for analysis tasks performed, capturing results, study approach, observations, assumptions, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication or Electrical & Electronics Engineering

The estimated salary for this role is around ₹20,00,000 per annum, based on industry standards and the location in Chennai. This figure is subject to negotiation and may vary depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
